Two Can Program
We offer three sessions each year: a Monday/Tuesday/Thursday program and two Wednesday/Friday programs. Each class maintains a 4:1 child-to-teacher ratio, with no more than 11 children per class, ensuring every child receives individualized attention and support.
Our 2-day programs (Wednesday/Friday) are designed for children entering our program at age 2. The early class (8:30–10:30) serves our youngest learners who have turned 2 by September 1. The second class (10:45–12:45) welcomes two-year-olds across a broader age range, from newly 2 up to almost 3.
Our 3-day program (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday) is designed for children who are 2.5 years old by September 1 and ready for an additional morning of learning and engagement each week. This class meets from 9:15–11:15.
Two Can Program Goals
A healthy separation from a parent/caregiver is the primary goal for the Two Can program. Our intention is to provide an environment in which children feel welcomed and nurtured, and feel supported in their continuing desire to learn through free play, songs, stories, books, art and movement. Our youngest learners also benefit from yoga and music enrichment like their older peers (or siblings!)
We recognize that choosing a program for your child also means choosing a community for your family. We strive to create a strong school-to-home partnership, facilitated by our teachers who provide frequent communications, sharing weekly classroom highlights. Our entire program is deeply rooted in community, and we encourage family engagement in their child’s experience. We provide many opportunities for participation year-round–visit our Parent Participation page to learn more.
